The Client View

This page provides a detailed guide to the Client View in Quiddly Operations Portal. This view is the central location for managing all static data, financial configurations, and service settings for a specific client.

The Client View is structured into three main areas:

  1. General Details: Core identity and legal information.
  2. Client Attributes (Expandable Sections): Detailed configuration and financial account data.
  3. Tabbed Detail Sections: Specific records, history, and service configuration.

1. General Details: Core Identity & Status

Section titled “1. General Details: Core Identity & Status”

This top section displays the core identity, legal details, and operational status of the client.

MFA Enforces multi-factor login for the client’s portal users. Only a Super User can change it. See “Multi-factor authentication (MFA)” below.
Client Template The template the client was created from, or “No template”. See Client templates.

The client’s Language is one input among several. Quiddly picks the language per kind of document:

Document Language, in order
Invoices, interest invoices, reminders and other notices to the customer The customer’s preferred language (set on the invoice, otherwise on the customer), then the client’s Language, then the language of the customer’s country. If that language does not match the invoice currency, English is used
Documents for the client: settlement specifications, activity reports, vouchers and client payment reports The client’s Language, then the language of the system
Collection documents The customer’s preferred language, then the language of the customer’s country, then the language of the system

The MFA field in the General section controls whether the client’s users must use multi-factor login in the Client Portal.

  • Only a Super User can change it. Changing it from NO to YES, or back, is applied to all the client’s existing users, and users created afterwards follow the setting.
  • Reset MFA in a user’s action menu lets that user enroll again. It needs a right: see Rights, roles and users and the rights catalogue.

Products Lists the products on the client and their configuration. Table showing Name, Applied Status, Use Recourse, Recourse Days and Default.

Every client has a row for each product: Invoice service, Reminder service, Collection service, Invoice factoring sell and Business loan. The three-dot menu on a row offers Set default, Save and Enable or Disable, and the chips All, Enabled, Applied and Disabled narrow the list.

  • An invoice cannot be financed while its product is not enabled on the client, which stops its activation. If an Invoice factoring sell invoice cannot be activated, check that this row is enabled and enable it if not.
  • Applied Status is PENDING, APPROVED or DENIED. On Invoice factoring sell it is PENDING until the client’s factoring decision is approved. PENDING there only means the client has not been approved for factoring, which is expected for a client that uses other products. It does not mean a problem with an ERP or invoice synchronisation.
  • The Business loan row is on every client and enabled by default, also when the Business Loan module is not used. It does not affect the other products.

These tabs contain records, history, and detailed configuration rules for the client’s account.

Which date the financing fee is calculated from

Section titled “Which date the financing fee is calculated from”

Under Rules on the Financing tab you choose the date the credit fee is calculated from: Invoice date (the default) or Purchase date. The fee days run from that date to the due date. For invoices that are financed after being booked as service invoices, for example refinanced invoices, choose Purchase date, so that the fee runs from the day the invoice is purchased instead of the invoice date.

Located in the top-right corner, this menu allows you to execute various management actions related to the client.

Action Name Description
Login Log in as this client to view the client-facing portal.
Add task Create a new task or follow-up action related to this client. A task has one assignee, a user or a user group, and is completed by one person resolving it. There is no option to require a second approval.
Manual invoice verification Choose how often invoices are highlighted for manual verification on the invoice factoring decisions board. Enter a Frequency: 0 turns it off, 1 highlights every invoice, 2 every second invoice, and so on up to every Nth invoice. The highlighted invoices get a different color and an icon; the system takes no other action. It applies to Invoice factoring sell invoices.
Client history View a comprehensive audit log of changes and events related to the client profile.

Upload attachment Upload a PDF that is attached to every invoice of the client, also for clients that use an ERP integration. An invoice that has its own attachment uses that one instead. A client can have one attachment.
Connect user Connect an existing user to the client by user ID (e-mail).
Disable Marks the client as no longer a customer. Clients cannot be deleted. A disabled client gets no new invoices financed (neither by the rule engine nor manually) and no recurring fees, but reminders and collection on existing invoices continue and payouts are not stopped. To stop payouts, use Block payouts on the client’s Payout Accounts. The action is called Enable while the client is disabled. See Client Actions.
